Looking to book a bigger group to play our Gamebox games? No problem! Each Gamebox can have up to 6 people playing at one time, but if you have more people coming along to our venues we’ll reserve as many Gameboxes as you need, and you can compete for which group gets the best score...
Plus, you can get a discount of 15% per person on groups of 19-35, or 20% per person for groups over 35 people. We also offer options for exclusive access to our venue and can chat to you about hospitality too, so just click below to learn more or submit an enquiry!
What should I do if I'm running late for my booking?
While we can't promise that we'll be able to fit you in, the best thing to do is turn up as close to your booking time as possible (remember, your arrival time is 10 minutes before the session is due to start) and our team will do everything they can to get you into a Gamebox. Please be aware that this may include playing a shorter game.
What is the age suitability?
We allow players from 5+! There must be at least one adult (18+) per Gamebox with children under 12. US specific: Ages 12-17 can play unaccompanied, but will require an adult (18+) to sign the waiver on their behalf upon arrival.
My child is under 5, can they play?
We have done a lot of testing and found that, although children under 5 years enjoy the lights and music, the adventures themselves can be too challenging to engage with properly. They are more than welcome to come inside the Gamebox and watch but unfortunately they cannot join in. Children 4 and below do not need a ticket purchased but please bare in mind the experience is very heavily sensory and may not be suitable for children of this age as a result. Gameboxes hold a maximum of 6 people and this includes any younger children not participating. Please be aware of small children in the Gamebox with you as the lighting can be dim and players are very active!
Do you serve drinks?
Yes! All of our UK venues offer a drinks service including soft drinks, beer, wine and pre-mixed spirts. Our US venues varies by state, with most offering soft drinks and beers and wine at select venues. Check the venue page to see if your local Gamebox offers full drinks. To make sure your drinks are served quickly and our Gameboxes are in top shape, all our drinks are served in cans or plastic.
How does pricing work?
We have different length adventures (30 minutes or 60 minutes) as well as peak and off peak pricing, so the amount will change depending on what adventure you’d like to play and when you want to visit us! You'll be able to see prices when you're booking your tickets.
What should I wear?
Please wear sensible footwear: flat shoes or trainers, no open toes or heels. We advise wearing just one layer, as you may get warm when being active in the Gamebox!
Are there any physical requirements?
You will be moving around your Gamebox as the controller of the game, however our games aren’t too physical and all activity is contained in one Gamebox, so you don’t need a specific level of fitness to play.
Can more than 6 people play?
You can make bookings online via the website for groups up to 24 players. You just need to choose a date, game and total amount of players for available time slots to appear. Our gameboxes hold a maximum of 6 players so when making your booking our system will automatically reserve multiple game boxes to accommodate your group size. You will need to split the group into teams and you will all play at the same time.
Can I store my stuff?
We have lockers for small bags and coats, however we do not have storage for large items such as suitcases or bikes inside our venues. Please seek alternative arrangements for storing such items. Storage of pushchairs / strollers may be able to be accommodated, but space is limited so please contact us in advance if this is something you need and we’ll see what we can do.
Will I be put with other groups?
No, you won’t be put in with another group. Bookings are private and you will only be joined in your Gamebox by those you booked to play alongside, even if there’s only 2 of you.
If I have a disability or access requirements can I still take part in the games?
Most disabilities and access requirements can be accommodated but we want to make sure the games are safe and enjoyable for everyone, so if you’re not sure, please get in touch before booking and we can help you figure it out. For any players with photosensitive conditions please be aware that our adventures contain digital projections that are a source of flickering light. Please contact us if you have any questions and we’ll be happy to discuss.
Do you have discounted carer tickets?
We offer one complimentary carer’s ticket per booking. To receive the carers discount code please send us an email using the subject line “Request a Carers Ticket” to email@example.com. You’ll receive an instant reply with a discount code to make a booking. Please note you may be asked to provide proof of carer status at the venue.
Can I play if I'm pregnant?
Playing Electric Gamebox is a physical activity, with lots of moving around on your feet. While we have no restrictions on pregnant players, every person’s pregnancy is different and we defer to your own judgement on whether you should play.
Do you offer a student discount?
Yes, we offer a 15% student discount for games played on Mondays-Thursdays only. Book online or in venue using the code STUDENT15. Please note that the payer will be required to show a valid student ID on arrival in order for their group to play at the student rate. It is not necessary for the other players in the booking to show student IDs. The student discount is available to people aged 18+ in full time education.
